INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
FriSpil – Room Divider
Standalone Room Divider Lamellas for Customizable Privacy and Design
MATERIALS
- Floor rail (8mm deep groove) x1 (A)
- Ceiling rail (20mm deep groove) x1 (B)
- Lamellas: Quantity depends on wall width (C)
- Screws Ø4-4.5mm with countersunk head
- Wood glue
TOOLS
- Drill or screwdriver
- Handsaw with miter box, or electric saw
- Level or laser measure
- Tape measure
- Pencil
INSTRUCTIONS
- Cut the Floor Rail:
- Measure and cut the floor rail to the required length.
- Note: Ensure the correct end faces outward into the room.
- Attach the Floor Rail:
- Secure the rail to the floor using screws.
- Alternatively, use glue if there is a possibility of pipes or cables beneath the floor.
- Cut the Ceiling Rail:
- Measure and cut the ceiling rail to match the floor rail length.
- Note: Confirm the correct orientation with the outward-facing side.
- Align Rails:
- Use a level or laser measure to ensure the floor and ceiling rails are perfectly aligned.
- Avoid any pipes or cables in the ceiling during installation.
- Measure and Cut Lamellas:
- Measure the distance between the floor and ceiling rails (excluding grooves).
- Cut the first lamella to a height of H 0 + 20 mm.
- Verify Alignment:
- Check that the distance between the floor and ceiling rails is consistent across both ends.
- If there is a slope, adjust the remaining lamellas accordingly to fit.
- Apply Glue:
- Spread wood glue into the grooves of the floor rail.
- Install Lamellas:
- Insert the top end of the lamella into the ceiling rail (1).
- Place the bottom end into the floor rail (2).
- Repeat Installation:
- Continue with steps 4–8 for all remaining lamellas until the divider is complete.
